"MY HOME"...
I spend most of the time in my room, doing everything in there from sleep, work, eat, play games, watch tv, etc. so I feel that this is the place i really call 'home'. It is where I feel most safe, comfortable and relaxed.

My Journey to Uni! :)

First, I take the bus to the BTS sky train.
I usually have my breakfast on the bus (I eat the same thing every morning because it is fast and easy).

The I take the sky train. I have a student card, which is much cheaper than the normal tickets :)

Finally, I walk from the station to the ID Building :)

Relevant Artists #4

Chema Madoz - He is one of my favourite photographers. The way he arranges his compositions are very clever, making them have a big impact on the viewers. He was one of my main inspiration for this idea. I want to create a similar impact on the viewer, but using my own methods and techniques (as mentioned in my sketchbook).

Relevant Artists

I looked at the works of Dada artists, as I felt that they were related to my idea. Their concept is putting together objects that are not supposed to be placed together, making the composition look 'distorted'. This forms the basis of my idea, only mine goes further, playing with the medium that the picture is taken though to get an even more distorted effect.

CONCEPT #3

VERSION 2: Using the Prism Jelly-Lens

These are just examples of photographs illustrating my concept. The content in the photos and the composition will have to be thought about much more thoroughly to create the biggest impact on the viewers.

CONCEPT #2

VERSION 1: Using the scrunched-up plastic sheet.

CONCEPT #1

I should continues to explore...
- The most effective medium
- Which objects and composition arrangements are most suitable
- What type of lighting would be most effective for my photographs (strong contrast would also help to make images such as this more effective)
- The angle that the shot is taken
- Explore the size of the object in the photo; does this have an effect on the viewer?

Process #7

Process #6

I was inspired by how a form was distorted by water+glass. I wanted to try and recreate a similar effect, and so i found a plastic sheet and scrunched it up, and photographed various things through it.

Process #5

(GLASS + WATER)
(ICE)
EXPERIMENT
This experiment was inspired by the reflection created on the surface of the water from the experiment of glass+water. I wanted to recreate a similar effect, but without using water. I shone light through a scrunched up plastic sheet to create an image reflected on the way that was larger and slightly distorted, just like the reflection on the surface of the water.
